The story of Mother Courage, the tough, spirited woman who pulls a canteen wagon through the battlefields of the Thirty Years’ War, is a tale for our times. Alternately comical, poignant and tragic, Brecht’s masterpiece presents a moving tribute to ingenuity, endurance, wit and indomitable courage. A dynamic ensemble performs over two-dozen roles, with original music played by a live band.
